I really liked the style of your piece. I don't often see pieces that have such a "classic" look.

One thought - the hair style seems too modern for the over all look.

Do you mean too modern in terms of its length (could be longer) or in terms of shape?

Now I can just hear a friend of mine (a fashion photographer) telling me "See I told you, man - you need to save up your pennies and get yourself a stylist" :)

Its hard to tell just how long it is - but it appears from the shading to be shoulder-length or so - which makes it look modern to me.

To me the vibe is late 1800's - where a woman's hair would probably have been quite long (I am a fan of long hair) if not "put up".

So you could go "long" or "put up" where the shape would depend on your taste.

My wife has really long hair and she does a lot of old fashion wind-up things to get it out of the way.
